Dwarf

Dwarves don't show gender and even they don't know which are male or female.  They all have long beards that they start growing from birth and never cut the beard.  They are slow to trust anyone but make great allies once you have earned their trust.

Ability Scores: +1 Strength, +2 Constitution, -2 Charisma
Dwarves are hearty and stocky but are extremely ugly beings to other races.

Age: Dwarves mature at the same rate as humans however they are long lived and on average live about 300 years.

Alignment:  Most dwarves are lawful and worship their ancestors as if they were deities.  Wronging ones family is a major thing to a dwarf, in doing so a dwarf will shave its beard off and seek out a great death in battle.

Size: Dwarves stand between 3 to 4 feet tall and weight between 150-200lbs.  You count as Medium Size.

Speed:  Your base speed is 25 feet.  Wearing heavy armor does not change your speed.

Darkvision: Dwarves are used to being underground so they can see in pitch darkness.  They can see up to 60' as if it was bright light, then 60' farther as if it were dim light.  However, you only see in black and white.

Dwarven Resilience: Gain advantage on saves vs poison, and gain Poison Resistance.

Dwarven Combat Training: You are proficient with battleaxe, battle bread, handaxe, throwing hammer, and warhammer.

Tool Proficiency: You gain proficiency with the artisan’s tools o f your choice: smith’s tools, brewer’s supplies, or mason’s tools.

Stonecunning: Whenever you make an Intelligence (History) check related to the origin of stonework, you are considered proficient in the History skill and add double your proficiency bonus to the check, instead of your normal proficiency bonus.

Stomach of Iron: A dwarf can eat stones or substances just as hard if they need to, additionally if making a constitution save vs anything ingested you have advantage on the save.

Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and Dwarvish. Dwarvish is full of hard consonants and guttural sounds, and those characteristics spill over into whatever other language a dwarf might speak.

Subraces: Two main subraces of dwarves populate the worlds of Mystic. City Dwarves and Mountain dwarves.

City Dwarf
As a city dwarf, you have left your homes in the mountains and gone to the city to make money for your family.  You have gotten used to interacting with other races and have gained in skill to make better equipment.
Ability Score Increase your Charisma increases by 2.
Dwarven Craftsmanship:  The items you create with your tools have double the hit points as their counterparts, weapons you create add a +1 damage to them but cost an extra 300 gold to create, and armors you make cost an extra 300 gold and allow you to have a max inspiration of 2 instead of the normal 1.

Mountain Dwarf
You live in a clan in the mountains bound by your ancestors.  You love mining and gold alike.  Battle hardened by fighting off the subterrain creatures that lurk into your mines you are tougher than the city counterparts but less at ease with other non dwarven people.
Ability Score increase: +1 Strength
​​​​​​​Dwarven Toughness: Your hit point maximum increases by 1, and it increases by 1 every time you gain a level.
